We’re so excited to share that the 3rd Annual Salmon Sessions Music Festival is set for Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the beautiful Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club in South Surrey!
Running from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Salmon Sessions is a full day of live music, local vendors, guided hatchery tours, and soaking up the peaceful vibe along the Little Campbell River. All while supporting one of our community’s most important conservation projects: the Little Campbell Hatchery.
This isn’t just another music festival — it’s a party with a purpose. 🎉
Salmon Sessions helps raise funds to protect and grow salmon stocks in the Little Campbell River system. Every ticket sold helps support vital conservation work done right here in our own backyard.

About the Little Campbell Hatchery 🐟
For nearly 40 years, the Little Campbell Hatchery has played a crucial role in restoring and protecting salmon populations in our local rivers. Sadly, the hatchery has faced major challenges, especially during the massive flooding of 2021, when tens of thousands of fish eggs were lost after floodwaters submerged the building.
Now, the team at the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club is working hard to build a new, flood-proof hatchery on higher ground, complete with modern equipment and the ability to release even more salmon each year.
On average, the hatchery releases over 100,000 salmon annually — adding up to nearly 4 million salmon over the past four decades! 🐟💪 That’s an impact worth celebrating.
Thanks to the amazing support from the community, sponsors, and local businesses, Salmon Sessions continues to grow every year. If everything goes well this year, the dream is to expand into a two-day festival in 2026 — bringing even more music, art, and conservation energy to South Surrey.
